Suit Up! Disney Edition Lookbook

Thursday, March 7, 2019

Some of you know that I'm planning to attend law school in the fall. While I'm not sure which school, I've already been playing around with my future wardrobe. From discussion boards to school tours, I'd heard a lot of things about what students wear to classes. I love the idea of a dressy casual look with a hint of Disney added to the mix! This look was inspired by a suit, but on a more casual level. Below I've linked items from this look that you can find to style your own Disney suit inspired look.

Get Your Ears On Photo Journal

At any given time, we're all about our favorite cartoon mouse! But given that this year continues the birthday celebration that started last fall, our trip felt extra special. From the decor to the specialty treats and merchandise we were so excited to get our ears on.

First up for us on our trip was diving into some of the Mickey Mouse celebratory treats. I'd had my eyes on the birthday hat macaron for weeks and William was salivating over the Mickey Schmoozie. While we felt the macaroon was too sweet, William gave the cookies and creme shake his stamp of approval.

While we didn't try them, we did think the Mickey birthday cake pops looked especially delicious and had a lot of fun watching the ever talented candy makers making them!

We loved the specialty merchandise, I was particularly fond of the coffee mugs, and all the different Mickey and Minnie plush toys through the ages.

William and I also liked the added birthday details in the evening parade, which was our first-ever parade viewing together at the parks!

We'll be back soon to celebrate more of our favorite mouse! Have you been? What's your favorite part of Mickey's celebration?

Pattern Mixing Lookbook

Wednesday, March 6, 2019

Hey everyone! We're just settling in from our speedy visit to the park this week, but I wanted to share  a little lookbook of my favorite outfit from our trip. Lately I've been really into pattern mixing, especially with similar hues. This ensemble was inspired by Minnie's polka dots, but with a nod to Disney's history with black and white cartoons. The polka dot top was a find at Target and the jumper is from Forever 21 Plus.
