Halloween at Disneyland

Tuesday, October 23, 2018

We know that most people enjoy the holidays at Disneyland with gingerbread, snowflakes, and decked out Christmas trees, but for Kate and I, Halloween is the most wonderful time of the year. From the pumpkins everywhere to the spooky snacks, the atmosphere is perfect for fall. This post serves as our photo journal of everything Halloween we saw at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park.

One of the things we both loved about the parks this year were all the skull-themed goodies. There were so many snacks a souvenirs it was hard to keep track. We both loved the skull cauldron popcorn buckets, and it took all our willpower not to buy one. Kate also really loved the skull-shaped coffee mugs.

In Disney California Adventure Park, there's a corner of the park dedicated to Pixar's film Coco. It was a cool, interactive experience that included an area for crafts, a place to write down and display memories of family, an a wall with colorful wings. It was beautifully curated, and we both hope that it becomes a mainstay of future Halloween exhibits at the park.

Kate's favorite Halloween decor is Cars Land, which isn't too surprising since Cars Land is her favorite land of the California parks. While we didn't get to taste any of the land's Halloween treats this year, we did take a quick tour of all the decorations to end our Halloween trip to the parks.

As we were exiting the park, we ran into Mickey in his Halloween costume, which made Kate happy because we didn't really see any characters this visit since it was a quick day trip.

And with that, our Halloween trip ended with a quick goodbye to Oogie Boogie and lots of new happy memories.

Thanks for joining us on our tour of Halloween at Disneyland! We certainly enjoyed our time there and hope you enjoy this little recap.
