The end of summer was quickly approaching, and with that, the end of Pixar Fest. Neither of us were certain that we could swing enough time off work to make a trip, but with faith, trust, and pixie dust we were able to plan a visit at the end of August. Both of us were excited to partake in all the Pixar madness, especially the a-m-a-z-i-n-g treats! The images below are a collection of our favorite Pixar Fest moments.
From the moment we entered the park, we could tell that we were about to experience the most incredible Pixar magic. Most of our Pixar adventures centered around Disney California Adventure Park. We visited the newly minted Pixar Pier, and took in all the new themed walls. The Buzz Lightyear wings are located next to the Monster's Inc. ride.
We played some of the Pixar Pier boardwalk style games. See our post on that here. Though we were unable to snag a ride on the Incredicoaster, we did watch some lucky park attendees take a spin.
On top of the new rides, there was also a ton of new Pixar-themed merchandise! From Jack-Jack to Bing Bong, there were Pixar plush characters everywhere!
We even got a chance to catch a glimpse of the ever fabulous Edna!
Pixar Fest was a wonderful experience and it's safe to say that we are now in love with Pixar Pier! Counting down the days until we are back for the holidays at Disney and can visit Pixar Pier again.
